The 2026 Television Critics Association (TCA) Awards nominations have been announced, with three distinct series leading the pack: 'Widow’s Bay,' 'Heated Rivalry,' and 'Industry.' Each show secured five nominations, highlighting a diverse range of television content recognized by the critics.

This widespread recognition across different genres underscores the breadth of quality programming currently available to audiences.

'Widow’s Bay,' a comedy centered on a haunted town; 'Heated Rivalry,' a romantic drama set in professional sports; and 'Industry,' a series exploring London’s high finance world, are all contenders for the prestigious Program of the Year award.

Additionally, these shows have received multiple nods in the individual achievement categories, signaling strong performances and creative contributions from their casts and crews.

Beyond the top contenders, the Program of the Year category also includes 'The Comeback,' 'Hacks,' 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,' last year's winner 'The Pitt,' 'Pluribus,' and 'Shrinking.' Several new programs are also vying for recognition, with 'Heated Rivalry,' 'Pluribus,' and 'Widow’s Bay' nominated for Best New Show alongside 'Alien: Earth,' 'The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,' 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,' 'The Lowdown,' and 'Margo’s Got Money Troubles.'

In terms of network performance, HBO and HBO Max collectively led the nominations with a total of 30.

Apple TV followed with 20 nominations, while Netflix received 14 and Disney+ garnered 11.

The TCA also introduced two new categories this year: Outstanding Achievement in Animation and Outstanding International Series, reflecting the evolving landscape of television content.

The winners of the TCA Award Nominations will be revealed later this summer.

The ceremony will also honor recipients of the career achievement awards for individuals and heritage awards for programs.
