Crunchyroll has officially announced its plans to stream the television anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono's popular *Kagurabachi* manga.

The series is set to premiere in April 2027 and will be available worldwide, with the exception of Japan, Mainland China, North Korea, and South Korea.

This streaming announcement provides a concrete release window for fans eagerly awaiting the adaptation.

Further details regarding the cast have also been revealed, with Katsuyuki Konishi confirmed to voice the character Togo Shiba.

He joins previously announced cast members Taihi Kimura, who will portray the protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira, and Tomokazu Seki, cast as Kunishige Rokuhira.

Ahead of its 2027 debut, the *Kagurabachi* anime will embark on a "world tour" event starting this July.

This promotional tour will include stops in Los Angeles, Paris (Japan Expo Paris), Mannheim, Germany, and New York in August.

Attendees at these events will get an exclusive preview, watching the first 20 minutes of the anime's inaugural episode.

The tour is slated to conclude in Japan in spring 2027, where the full first episode will be screened.

## Production and Manga Background

Tetsuya Takeuchi, known for directing *From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated!* and his work as a key animator for *Naruto*, is directing the anime at Cypic.

Keigo Sasaki, recognized for character designs in *Blue Exorcist* and *Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray*, is handling character design for *Kagurabachi*.

Shochiku and CyberAgent are part of the production committee.

The *Kagurabachi* manga, which debuted in Shueisha's *Weekly Shonen Jump* magazine in September 2023, has quickly gained traction.
